I just read this on the website and thought I'd pass it on:
Night - Pacers
We no longer allow pacers at night during the Wasatch Back. In addition, any team member outside of the vehicle must wear all night gear -- reflective vest, flashlight/headlamp and LED light.

I'm wondering if this has to do with the tragedy at the Phoenix relay. I'm guessing it does.
