It was a beautiful day and a beautiful course beginning on a golf course, snaking through a gorgeous tulip garden, running along side a river and finally winding through a neighborhood to a park where the finish line was located.
Tara asked me to include a pic... I don't have any of me actually running b/c my fan club (husband, son, and parents) arrived after I'd already crossed the finish line, but here's one of me and my friend, Nichole after the race...
Great job!!

ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!
ReplyDeleteYeah! Good for you. So excited to meet you in a few months. Way to go finishing 7 minutes faster....that's no small feat.
ReplyDeleteGreat job!! I love finishing faster than my goal times (maybe I should just have slower goal times and I would always feel better. . . hmm :))
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the Thanksgiving half. I use to live in Orem. Grew up Most of my family still live right around that area. I have a friend who ran that half as well. She is from Vernal. When I ran my first half marathon, about 8 years ago, my hubby and my sisters and all the kids missed me finishing cause I ran it faster then they expected. I was so bummed.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job!!!!
