Leg changes!

Did you all get the email about the leg changes? I am feeling a little stressed. My second leg which was a four mile downhill recovery run, just changed to a 6.5 mile up hill run. Yikes. Did anyone else's change significantly? Be prepared to cheer each other on. Nervous!

  1. Yeah, my hardest middle leg got shorter and straight down instead of an up and down, which will be harder on the knees. Susan: your last leg just got 2.6 miles longer-yikes! We'll run with you though since you'll be finishing! Each of my legs changed slightly taking my mileage from 13.1 to 12.4. I think Susan's and Jess's have the most mileage added so take a looksie!

  2. What a change! I added two miles to my middle leg and lost four from my last. I'm not sure if I'm excited because it makes it easier, or dissappointed because of the change.

  3. Uhm... My first two legs are 0 miles. Looks like I only have to run 4.8 miles. :P. I am sure that will be changing soon.

  5. I am so furious I can't even see straight right now. My mileage went from 18.6 to 12.6. You have got to be kidding me. My eyes are shooting daggers right now. We may need to re-arrange some things. Shoot me and email if you feel like you might want to change your leg

  6. Ok--I've had a few minutes to calm down. Let's just think about maybe switching a few legs around to make the mileage a little more even. Like--Susan (#12) would give me her leg 2 and I (#11) would give her my leg 2. Let me think about this for a bit and I'll send out an email tonight

    Jess you are runner #8 right? I ahve you with a 5.3 at the end. Is that correct??

  8. so mine went down by 1/2 a mile maybe..Bri you stiill have 13.1 miles...not short in my book. Who's #7..wow...that should be fun.

  9. Mine went up by a mile. I am now doing 14.2 I think. I am super nervous about doing 6 miles for that last leg. SCARY. Although I don't have many hills so I should just be thankful. I am up to switching if there is an easier one someone wants to trade. I really can't run outside yet. I am good to go on the treadmill but outside is kicking my butt. I hurt, I can't breathe and I just can't go for as long. BUT I WILL FINISH!!!!!

  10. Tara, you are right my last leg dropped to 5.3, but my second leg, added 2.5 miles and got significantly harder, so I think mine is just perfect now. When I checked earlier, it was all messed up and still showed my last one at 9.6 plus the harder middle one, but they have since adjusted it and I think it will be great. Call me if you need to switch any of my legs otherwise I am good. Thanks.

  11. Well, I really got the shaft with this leg change thing. My middle moderate 4.something leg went up to an uphill very hard 8.something. This puts all three of my runs at over 8 miles each and my total mileage at 24.7. The ragnar gods hate runner #7.
