5:45 am run on a February morning

It was Women's Conference for our Stake this Saturday, so Josh offered to let us come with his running club on a very early run so we could still get our workout in. We did mile hill repeats. And as dreadful as it sounds, we actually had a great time! Thanks Josh for a killer workout--I had a runner's high all day long!

Jen took this pic for us on her i-phone so when we're old and gray we can look back and remember that we used to get up at 5:45 on the weekend to run hills. Because we like to. :)

  2. I just came across your blog and it looks great! I would like to work with you to promote the South Valley Half Marathon, Aug 20, 2011. It is the newest race in the Salt Lake City area. It begins in Rose Canyon in Herriman and ends in the community of Daybreak in South Jordan. I would like to offer you a free entry to the race in exchange for posting about the race in general, mentioning it in your training posts and a post-race post as well. We would also love to have a side-bar ad on your blog and a mention on your facebook or twitter.
Let me know what you think!

  3. so when I got up on Saturday morning I was so very grumpy and seriously ready to quit running - who needs to get up after several late nights and early mornings that week anyway, and a long day ahead of me, and torture myself w/ hill repeats with crazy awesome runners so I'm way in the back etc... but then we got to the school and started to run and I still was going to give up running - it was hard!!! but by the 3rd repeat I got my groove and really enjoyed myself and all the rest of the day I felt AWESOME and I remembered why I torture myself w/ early mornings - because endorphins are the BEST:) - so thanks Josh & all you girls- you are all truly inspirational and motivational!!!!!
