ReplyDeleteJenna was admiring my medal and asked if I won the race... and I laughed and told her "not quite." Then she asked me, "were you 2nd... 3rd...?" I said, "nope." Confused, she then asked "why did they give you a medal?" I told her, "because I finished--and that is just as important as winning!" Life lesson, I guess.
