It's not every day an Olympian picks out the perfect pair of running shoes for you. Not everyday---but it was today for me! Thank you Mr. Alan Culpepper, I feel faster already! Pop Quiz: Who ran a 2:09:41 marathon? Answer: The dude that picked out my new running shoes! Awesome!!!!
BTW: His fastest mile is 3:55......Insane!
I know what you mean. He was really helpful when I went in there too! A 3:55 miles is amazing!!! I would recommend that shop to everyone!

ReplyDeleteIt's a running store in Louisville called Solepeppers. I like Amber highly recommend getting your shoes there. My shoes are Saucony Progrid guide 2 medium support, but that doesn't mean they are right for you. Go do the treadmill test and see what you need or what is best for your foot/running style.
ReplyDeleteSWEET!! The first think I tell my clients when we start to train is that they need to invest in a great pair of shoes. It's amazing the difference it makes.
ReplyDeleteI got mine at Solepepper too. They are Brooks - I had never even considered that brand before, but you can't argue with the treadmill video! I didn't get Alan to help me, but I was helped by a younger, super hot & enthusiastic guy. Nice. I tried 4 different pairs and did the treadmill test on all of them, and was surprised the the most expensive pairs were awful on me - I was willing to pay more, but didn't have too.
