Freakin' Friction!
Do any of you have problems with friction? I sometimes get blisters on my feet or toes and rashes under my sports bra or underarms (usually when I'm wearing a tank top.) This happens without fail on my long runs (12 miles or more.) I found a product at Walgreens by the band-aids that's a friction blocker that you just rub on. It's terrific. I haven't had any issues since I've been using this. Just wanted to share.

One of the reasons I run in running tights instead of shorts... What is the name of the product?
ReplyDeleteI used to get blisters on my toes all the time and then I realized that I was buying my shoes to small! I am normally and 8.5 shoe but for my running shoes they are 9.5. Be sure to always buy your running shoes bigger! As far and chaffing and friction, I dont have too much of a problem but a ton of my friends love Body Glide. I think that is what it is called. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteI buy my shoes a size bigger too. You really have to if you don't want your toes going numb! The stuff that I found is called Friction Block Stick and it's just made by Band-Aid.
