Checklist


In addition to the Race Day Checklist posted on the website, I had a few other things I wanted to add. Here are my additions:

Camera
Cooler
ibuprofin
kleenex
card reader (so I can get everyone's pictures)
Batteries for headlamp
ipod charger/ car adapter
phone charger
APRON

Sunscreen
Towel (if you want to shower while on the course, or for the beach on Sunday)
Swimsuit
CASH--bring some $1's--they came in handy last year
Good Toilet Paper (things were pretty chafey at the end last year)
baby wipes, or some sort of personal cleansing cloths

What are you adding??

  2. I am bringing my water belt. One of my legs does not have van support, it's my middle of the night leg, yikes! Also, I am brining Ben gay!

  3. I was going to bring a dozen trek bars from great harvest for each of us. I hate all the sugar or protein-y taste of power bars, these are really dense granola type bars, all whole grain with millet, oats, peanut butter, choc chips, flax seeds, honey and cranberries. They pack really well and will keep you full for hours. I was also going to bring some trail mix for each van. I know we devoured that last year in our van! Also bringing nuun for me because it's easy to pack and I won't have to buy gatorade when we get there. We talked about bringing a water proof shell in case of rain.
