Not sure if the Utah gals have bought their tickets yet but here is my flight information and what it cost me...not as cheap as the Denver tickets for sure. I bought Southwest tickets. I leave SLC at 11:25 on Thursday morning on flight #910 and arrive at LAX at 1:20 p.m. It stops once in Vegas (no plane change). Going home from San Diego I leave on Flight # 1866 at 6:05 p.m. with one plane change and layover in Phoenix. Arriving home in SLC at 10:50 p.m. My grand total was $265-ish.
Training is going AWESOME. Pneumonia in October set me back 2 months and I had to start all over again after Christmas but now I am up to 35 minute straight running and then some 1 minute walking intervals combined with 5 minute running for the rest. Watching the heart rate and the breathing as my HR gets super high if I don't. Considering I am a total beginner and 35 pounds overweight, I think I am on the right track. The day I started back after Christmas I could only run 5 minutes straight without passing out. In one month I am up to 35 minutes now. I am almost always on my treadmill as the inversion is dangerous to run outside and my lungs refuse the cold weather and I can't breathe. I am looking to start adding some runs at an indoor track soon.
See you all in April!
